Let's continue with the Plagueworks shall we?
There is a whole preamble of trash that your party can have fun facerolling through, including two dogs, Precious and Fluffy? I seriously don't remember or care.
Festergut aka Festerloots is on the left side of the hallway which allows you to either engage him or Rotface. Once both of them are dead you may go and murder Professor Putricide.
What does he do??: Essentially, the battlefield is covered in gas which does damage overtime based on the density of the gas. This fight is mainly a cycle of high raid damage and low tank damage, to high tank damage (healers be on your toes), to low low raid damage. Wait say what? Density? Well, Festerloots will inhale 25% of the gas, up to three times. Each time he inhales the gas it will do less damage to the raid. But makes him hit the tank harder.
So what? Nothing really, use your Shadow Ward warlocks! The gas does shadow damage!
Spread out 8 yards please. He will also make random ranged people PUKE, incapacitating them for 6 seconds and doing damage to them. You can't do anything about it. But SPREAD OUT because anyone else hit by the puke will also become incapacitated and puke, and this cause a raid wipe if someone gets too close to the tank.
After he has absorbed all the gas, he will then expunge it all doing enormous damage to the entire raid something like a billion damage. Use your shadow ward here.
Wait what a billion? Well no, but it's a lot. And here is where the next key element of this fight comes in.
Spores spawn on random party members. DBM will helpfully mark spored peoples. What these spores do is that after a certain duration of time, they will EXPLODE and (de)buff anyone caught in the explosion with a shadow resistance buff, which stacks 3 times.
WARLOCKS: When you enter the room, drop your Green Teleporty Fun Thing. This will be the gather point for ranged people. So while everyone is doing their thing, when the spores spawn, you can instantly teleport to the gathering point to get the shadow buff and continue pew pewing.
Be aware, one person with the spore should be in to cover the ranged asses, and another should run into melee if it doesn't spawn in melee.
The cycle repeats after three spores have spawned, hopefully everyone has three stacks. Then he'll do his giant gas release, but don't worry cause the shadow buff will save you. Use your Shadow Ward again, you'll probably take 0 damage.
Metamorphosis: You should be able to use this cooldown right at the beginning of the fight, and once again when he's in Decimation mode depending on raid DPS. If not, save it for the latter half to beat his enrage!
TL;DR: Cause I sure as hell didn't read all that.
1. Use your Demonic Circle as the ranged meeting point for spores. This saves YOU time. And if YOU have the spore you can just teleport and make the OTHER person go into melee.
2. Use Shadow Ward. Every cooldown you see, just do it!
3. Spread out!

Lootlicious Day
When I got really bored one day so many months back and spent most of my gold on a battered hilt for my Warlock, she officially became my main character and the rest of my toons just sat around casually doing dungeons and the occasional raid to gear up.
Turby. The hunter. Still remember him and his quest for the Pit of Saron crossbow?
Well, he was very much the loot-whore yesterday being super undergeared but still pulling his weight floating at the mid 5k dps range. Essentially before we needed a third healer, which is Turny the Restless tree, each of the first five encounters dropped a significant upgrade for Turby!
Isn't that gross? An entire dual-wield set of Axes, which both look the same, a new BOW, two rings, one from rep, and a necklace! Gross!! It's still sad how Truny can still do triple Turby's damage output....for now!

Truny's Warlock Tips: Deathbringer Saurfang
Deathbringer Saurfang aka Deathbringer Lootfang is the final boss of the lower spire in Icecrown Citadel.
He does...stuff and the tanks have to do something up on the stairs and throughout the battle he will summon Blood Beasts.
What do we do? Set up a summoning portal near the back of the room just in case. You'll know why. Turn your felguard's cleave off. SPREAD OUT.
Why? This boss is essentially a tank and spank with some adds killing. When the blood beasts spawn, all ranged dps will switch to them. Two spawn in 10-man and four spawn in 25-man. When blood beasts hit anyone, it means bad things so don't get hit. I'm not getting technical or even mentioning what abilities it triggers, just make sure no one gets hit from them, or at least reduce the frequency of them melee'ing anyone. This is why our Felguard's cleave is turned off, in case they catch the attention of a blood beast and starts stacking nasty buffs onto the boss.
This is why we have a summoning stone. Just in case. When the blood beasts spawn, switch your dps to them and once they begin to aggro you or anyone else, send your Felguard onto it, which will trigger the Felguard's "charge", which stuns the beast for three/four seconds (I forget ok). Usually the beast will be downed by now. Then switch back to Saurfang.
The reason we spread out for this fight is because Saurfang has some ability that does damage. (DUH LMAO). Well, the more people stacked together, the more damage it does OBVIOUSLY, and this also buffs the boss. Spread out! These are just tips, not entire raid strategies to down him jeez! I believe it is 12 yards for this fight.
IF the blood beasts still are not dead after being stunned/rooted and are coming towards you then you can use your portal YAY!
Alternative Method: HOWEVER, you can choose to NOT kill the blood beasts and just focus on Saurfang. This way your DPS will be maximized since switching wastes global cooldowns and after the fight you can link your l33t d33ps to emphasize your large penis or sexy breasts.

The Gunship Battle, aka Lootship is the third encounter in Icecrown Citadel. Once you get the mechanics of this battle, and have been through say 15 seconds of it is actually really really boring. You will see most groups turn this encounter on to heroic mode just for the better loots. Go figure.
What Do We Do? Wait didn't I do a little guide on this already? Oh well takes me like two minutes to type this anyways. Ok if you are assigned to guns. Aim at the enemy boat, possibly at some of the enemy mobs, and spam the "1" button until your "HEAT" gauge located on the right fills up to about 85+, then hit 2. Rinse and repeat.
You will hear the opposite faction leader say something like "Get a mage out here", then your cannon will freeze.
Now you can either wait for a tank to jump over to the other ship via the rocket-shirt, and kill the mage freezing your guns. Or you can help kill mobs that have spawned on your ship.
And then? Rinse and repeat and you win its so boring. I like to use my Voidwalker here and use his Sacrifice shield to absorb gunshot wounds and mortar wounds.
Ok go loot the chest.

Truny's Warlock Tips: Lady Deathwhisper
Lady Deathwhisper aka Lady Lootwhisper is the second encounter in Icecrown Citadel. Yet again the lower spire consists of pretty brainless fights.
Quick and Dirty: She starts off with a mana-shield which mostly ranged dps will have to nuke down. When this shield wears off you can finally kill her via depleting her HP.
While her mana-shield is up, mobs will spawn on the sides of the room. In 25 man, this will be both sides, in 10 man this will be one side.
Warlocks: You are ranged DPS. Ranged DPS kill the FANATICS. Essentially when the mobs are about to spawn warning goes off I tab around and look for the letter F. Yes you can make a macro but come on don't be lazy.
I'm not sure what the other ones are as I don't pay attention to them.
When all the FANATICS are dead, go back to pew pew Deathwhisper's shield. Make sure not to kill the shield while mobs are spawning as this triggers phase 2!
Her Attacks: Throughout the mana-shield phase she'll spam shadowbolts onto random people. Use your shadow ward.
She will also cast Death and Decays on random areas of the room. They are HUGE and green. Stay the fuck out of them. Thanks.
Make sure that the raid times the mob waves and the demise of her mana-shield so you don't get messed up when transitioning to the second phase.
SECOND PHASE: When her mana-shield is depleted your tanks will pick her up. And now she will start casting frostbolts all over the damn place. Ignore them and keep pew pewing. She will also continue to cast death and decays. Dodge them and continue pew pewing. Watch your threat as she'll make tanks "insignificant", so save your soulshatter when your threat, and it probably will, sky-rocket to 75%+ really quickly.
Also, remember those little ghosties that spawn in Sunken Temple, or in one of the very annoying Auchinduon instances?
No? Well essentially these spirit/ghost thingers will spawn and randomly attack random people. You can't target them, and you can only run away from them.
If you see those and if they are floating towards you: RUN THE FUCK AWAY! They melee for around 15k and WILL kill you if you don't move away.
Think of it this way: If you don't move away and die, then your DPS sucks and if your dps sucks then your penis/vagina is small. Motivation enough for you? And your gearscore decreases by 500, which has certain negative implications. Whatever.
Ok go loot her.

Truny's Warlock Tips: Lord Marrowgar
Lord Marrowgar aka Marrowloots, is the first boss encounter in ICC. His difficulty level is akin to Koralon the Flame Watcher in Vault of Archavon. Essentially the mobs leading up to him are more difficult than the actual boss.
Why even bother posting "tips" on this guy? Well to satisfy my need for a sequential guide this boss just so happens to be the first "boss".
What this boss does: In short, he'll shoot straight lines of blue fire away from his body in any direction. Stay out of them. He'll also cast "Bone Spike Graveyard", which impales raid members and deals damage to them, KILL THESE ASAP OR YOUR FRIEND WILL DIE A PAINFUL IMPALED DEATH. Every so often he'll go spin around doing minor raid damage to everyone and shoot four lines of flame in four directions like an X. He'll stop doing this spinning and return to attacking the tanks.
What to look out for: Flames. Stay out of them. When he's not spinning, everyone but hunters should be standing in his hit-box so no one has to worry about getting flamed. The flames obviously start their trajectory from right outside of his hit box. When someone's impaled by his Bone Spike Graveyard, SWITCH TO KILL THE SPIKE NO ONE CARES ABOUT YOUR DPS ALSO THERE IS AN ACHIEVEMENT FOR KILLING THEM FAST. When he starts to spin around, if you have Destructive Reach you can first dot him back up then continue to spam your destruction spells. Side step to avoid any flame.
!!: When he stops spinning, he'll go back to shooting the single flames and casting his Bone Spike Graveyards. Your tanks will (hopefully) reposition him and now you make sure to watch where your pet is, because your pet will be attacking his ASS and that's where you want to be since he has a very painful frontal cleave. It's kind of hard to tell which is his face or which is his ass because he has so many faces/asses all made of bone!

Now what? Uh, you won! Go loot him.

Truny's Outdated: Muradin's Spyglass
Yeah, it's taken me THIS long to actually win a roll on anything, and specifically this trinket. I am too lazy to open up wowhead and type in the htlm code so what this trinket does is:
Location: Loot Ship
Equip:+131 crit (2.85%)
Equip: Each time you deal spell damage you gain 18 spellpower, stacking up to ten times and lasts for ten seconds.
Essentially for warlocks this is a 131 crit, 180 spellpower trinket.
You gain a buff that looks like it would be gained from gathering herbs, it has a very herbal look to the icon (err), and it starts to stack the instant any of your spells deals damage to anything. Even critters. Even to yourself.
As long as you continue to deal damage, this buff will never fall off. It will continually be stuck at the ten/nine second mark.
Great job.
I finally replaced the Abyssal Rune. Poor thing. It had a nice chunk of haste and the 590 spellpower proc was nice. But having a constant 180 spellpower is more reliable. No internal cooldowns. Constant.
But the most important part of this post is that I actually ROLLED for this and won. By one point! WHAAAAT?

Nibelung
Hello!
So Nibelung, the staff that almost always drops off of Lady Lootwhisper. As a saavy caster what is the first thing you notice other than its On Equip effect?
It has no stats other than Spellpower!
The first time I saw this staff drop, I rolled on it casually, since losing my MH and OH items would be a huge hit in haste and HIT. It was then I got thinking "hmm, how useful are these fairies that get summoned?"
The second I saw it, I didn't roll for it.
The third time was in a GDKP. I bought it for 4,000 gold? Good deal! Maybe it was 3,500 I forget.
So this no stats thing. It's a solid hunk of ilvl 264 grade spellpower. It wasn't until I received a whole spattering of other upgrades, such as the ICC 25 rings and necklaces which boosted my haste and hit high enough that I don't care for it much more (I lie, I still like haste), this Staff really shines.
Why? Because the "Magical Angels of Smiting Goodness" (that's what I call them anyway) that spawn off of your spells are mighty fun and useful. It looks like they have a 2% chance to spawn on your cast of each damaging spell, and for each tick of your dots. Lifetap and other supplementary spells don't count of course.
Magical Angels of Smiting Goodness. These are also known as Valky'r Guardians. They have 12,500 health (right?) and deal a fast cast smite for 1,500 critting for 2,700 ish sometimes for 30 seconds.
For their time spawned, they will do 800-1000 dps. Or about 30k damage over 30 seconds. Sort of.
So if you engage in combat with a mob, and a Magical Angel of Smitey Death spawns at the same time and the mob dies in exactly 30 seconds your dps would be 800 higher.
In a raid overall of course, they will not boost your damage by 800 dps since they are not active all the time (which would be awesome).
This staff also makes solo'ing BC dungeons more interesting. My felguard will pull, and if an angel is up they will just two-beast/angel/valkyr/man/woman the mobs down while I wand of rain of fire to take credit for loot.
More than one can spawn. The most I have seen is 3 and it is completely random. Seeing two usually warrants that I am spamming Soul Seed (oh my god what is that spell called again?) or Rain of Fire. Having 3 is pretty snazzy as for that 30 seconds its +2400 dps. Again, given the entire fight lasts 30 seconds and they are all "used up".
I still remember WAY back when, looking up Lootwhisper's loot-table and going "Whoa, that staff is too pro for me". And I bought it with gold. How sad and or interesting is that? Well, not that I would ever, EVER win a roll but still. How odd.

Blood Queen Lana'thel: Less Distress
Less distressful to fight than say Putricide! The guild is officially 10/12 in Icecrown with her death!What did we do in this fight? Assign the biters.
Bitten #1 bits #2, #1 then bites #3 and #2 bites #4 and by this time it should be a win.
Will of the Forsaken helps a lot with her fearing air phase, as we can just calmly get back in position and continue to pew pew. It might be annoying if you are about to hunger for blood and are feared but just keep your target selected, run towards them and spam "1" to bite 'em!
Seeing humungo crits is always fun too!

Valithria's a Bitch

No seriously, she is a bitch. First we help heal her, six million...MILLION hit points, we ward off adds, get smacked in the face, burnt to the bone, harassed by frost archmages and assaulted by very hard hitting little worms and after we finally fill up her health bar...she just teleports away! What a bitch!
That's one more new boss down, after everyone's spirits were super high now that Putricide is laying dead in his laboratory of fun and creations!
I used my voidwalker for this fight for the occasional taunt away from someone, and also for the damage shield which is very very useful for the Blazing Skeleton's Lay Waste and also the random frost bolts flying around.

Plaguewing Murdered

We had two new guild members join us for our re-attempt at Putricide today, an excellent ranged dps, and an excellent healer. We followed suit with our strategy, burning down slimes, waiting on transitions to clean out the room, kiting and taunting as needed, and after a couple consistent Phase 3 attempts HE'S DEAD!! I haven't felt so intense for a boss fight in a while, after having been murdered by Putricide so many times, and how having him at phase three consistently it's just stay calm, pew the pews and watch his health bar drop! Great job everyone!

Truny the Warlock on Deprogramming Darnavan
One of the Icecrown Citadel weekly quests is called "Deprogramming". This quest appears after Marrowgar is murdered for his loot and is given by some orc up the ramp after Marrowgar. This is also the first and possibly easiest weekly quest I have seen inside this raid instance.
Essentially, during the Deathwhisper fight a mob named Darnavan, who is under the vile influence of Deathwhisper will spawn and he must be off-tanked and kept alive during the entire boss fight. Once Lady Deathwhisper dies and the party ensures Darnavan is still alive, the quest is a success.
Demo warlocks rejoice, our Blueberries have a use once again! What we did was have Hathnagma (my Voidwalker) taunt Darnavan as he spawns, then clicked on him to follow me to the back/middle of the room and "stayed" him so he could receive heals and Darnavan was out of the way since he does a whirlwind. (Yeah, any type of warlock Voidwalker works really...)
Darnavan doesn't really hit that hard, about 3,000 white damage and with priest and paladin buffs my Voidwalker had about 31,000 HP, and exceeding 40,000 HP with Demonic Empowerment (just click this whenever its off cooldown for a safety buffer).
I couldn't turn off the Voidwalker's auto attack while it taunted, I guess he can only stand there and do nothing if he was well..doing nothing. Aka sending in the pet then switching it to passive will stop all its actions but it seems the taunt will also turn on its attack. Hence I used the Voidwalker since a felgaurd would probably deplete Darnavan's low HP pool. Anyways, he'll be above 50% HP before the fight is over anyways. (Now I am going to test if a felguard can taunt but not attack)
Another good thing about using the Voidwalker is his Sacrifice, which is perfect for this fight since it provides a shield that absorbs 10,500 damage every one minute!! This shield, along with using Shadow Ward when it was off cooldown was more than enough to mitigate a Deathwhisper Shadowbolt, and also enough to absorb most of the damage from one of the hard-hitting ghosts that spawn, or a tick of death and decay damage if it happens to spawn under you.
So, an easy peasy five emblems of frost!

Good PUG Bad PUG: ICC 25
On Tuesday I had finally decided to drop my Death Knight's mining for Alchemy since Turby is already a maxed miner and I had an entire tab of herbs just waiting to be mixed into delicious chemicals.
I was switching back and forth between toons looking through their old bank bags and saw someone soliciting for some DPS in ICC 25.
"Ugh fine I'll join" I thought. I didn't have the "achievement" for 25 persons yet but I did have the 10 persons and the fights are essentially the same for the first wing anyways.
Method of recruitment: "What's your GS?". I replied with my score, they seemed happy with it.
I logged into Truny the Warlock and the group was already at Marrowgar yay no trash!
I have a habit of setting the tank as my focus just from being a healer (and the healer when I'm tanking) and as we pulled I saw the tank's HP drop all the way to 15% then back up.
PHEW. A few more seconds in, the boss' target switched "SMASH", that person died. I wonder who it was. Oh well.
Marrowgar does his bone storm and we all run around and dodge fire and what not and we all coalesce back to the same spot inside his hit box. BAM someone else dies. BAM the tank dies. I have a feeling we don't have an offtank?
The raid was called after that so I guess I had joined at the end of a long run on Marrowgar. Whatever, back to levelling Alchemy. (Which is now at 285, outlands level, at least I can fly around and gather herbs for my poor DK now)
Good PUG. Yesterday the same thing happened more or less, was gathering a bit higher level herbs and had hearthed back to mail them to Klupty when I saw another advertisement for Damages in ICC 25. This time I looked up the person asking first and yes they did have some clears.
We rocked our way to Marrowgar and this time the tank didn't die and we actually cleared all the way to Saurfang (pics or it didn't happen, I'll post them later).
Nothing THAT significant for those who have done this a billion times, and the first six or seven bosses in the raid are pretty simple anyways. Heck Lootship isn't even a boss you just...attack some boat and some people on a boat!
The Thing I Found Funny was that we cleared the first wing in entire silence. It was like running a random heroic. Creepy no? No one said anything, or typed anything except for clicking "yes" to ready checks. Since when did end-game content become walks in the park? I guess when everyone is sexy beautifu land confident, I mean competent things just happen. A lot of fellow raiders had commented "wow what a good pug".
Truny didn't find any sexy smexy upgrades though since as her mantra stands:
"If someone else needs the same item as Truny does, there is no way in hell she will ever win a roll against them. Ever"
That's my gripe with 25's, even MORE people to roll higher than my Truny Rolls: 2 (1-100)
That's ok. One more upgrade just means one less reason to play =(

Truny the Warlock on Festergut
Festergut Success!
Essentially this fight is a matter of finding the person with a spore to receive a damage reducing buff, and spreading out if you are ranged so that when you are vomitting it doesn't spread to the other players.
Also dear Warlocks, please use Shadow Ward right when its off its cooldown, helps with heals a lot!
And to good times!
Any Juicy warlock loot you are wondering? Yes! He drops some very nice pants which are just 20 haste and 20 spellpower below the Leggings of Woven Death but these should hold up very well!

Truny the Warlock on the ICC Gunship Battle: Say What?
If you're assigned to the guns on the Gunship battle, this is what you do:

When your gun gets frozen, you'll automatically be dismounted (Score! Free movement!)
Now wait for the tank on your boat (or if you are flying over, that tank) to have aggro on enemies, and pew pew their faces!
Keep an eye on your gun because when it unfreezes you want to go and spam a series of ones and hit two a few times.
Oh and apparently, you just shoot at the enemy ship...like at its surface, like...a real siege!
I feel dumb but it took me until the ally ship was down to 30% until I realized where its HP bar was since I was thinking "uhh how do we know when we win?"
Apparently the HP bar of the enemy ship got lost behind my DoTimer which I moved to the side. GG TRUNY!
Yeah, and that's about it for this battle, nothing special but why are we fighting the Allies again? I wasn't paying attention...

Truny's Mission is Over
Oops, Truny raided!
But guess what? After moaning and groaning about the Shriveled Heart for a month, I replaced it today. YAY. Ironic, that item was the most likely item to be replaced as well, save for maybe a ring.
Yes, the off-hand you'll see a lot of people wandering around with, Lady Deathwhisper's Scourgelord's Baton.
I lost the nice 50 haste rating from the Shriveled Heart but the hit rating from from this new offhand puts me just 7 hit above the cap, which was very nice for the next battles and it didn't need to be enchanted/gemmed.
So yes, more on this ICC10 run later!
